'CONTEXTUAL SHED' This shed is contextual, located in the suburbs above Geelong, adjacent to an old Victorian school building. The pitched roof form comes from using a timber gable truss, like that of the old building, so although it is a big building, it sits within the historic context. Also, we placed it low on the site to enhance its relationship with the older buildings.   Big naturally operated wind vents on the roof appear to be like chimneys on local houses. The roof is made using big timber trusses all bolted together, so inside the hall there is a church-like feeling.
